Thomas F. Caffrey (Retired)

Thomas F. Caffrey practiced law continuously in Massachusetts for 60 years from 1963 until his retirement in 2023. His practice was concentrated in estate planning and administration, elder law and real estate.  Tom also represented landowners through the zoning, conservation and regulatory approval process in connection with significant development projects in the Greater Lawrence area.

Although retired from the practice of law, Tom currently serves as a co-Trustee of the Catherine McCarthy Memorial Trust Fund, a Massachusetts charitable trust.


Tom was a Trustee of the Lawrence Public Library and president of the White Fund, Inc., a Lawrence charitable organization founded in the 1800s.  He is a past president of the Lawrence Bar Association.  He has also served as a director of Andover Bank and the Massachusetts subsidiary of BankNorth, now TD Bank.
